Paul Jackson

Founder & President

Paul Jackson's entrepreneurial spirit is the driving force behind TRL Ventures.   After many successful years as an engineer for Orbital Sciences, Paul founded Dynamic Labs, an environmental testing company located in Phoenix AZ and Austin TX.  The company was recognized for its expertise in vibration, shock, hi-thermal vacuum (MIL-STD 810, 202, RTCA DO-160), and EMI (MIL-STD 461).  Dynamic Labs served over 100 military and commercial customers including NASA, Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, BAE Systems and Honeywell, and much of the hi-technology industry in the Southwest United States. 

 

Jackson has also founded multiple other start-ups, including Integrus Capital, Worthworm, D-Strut, Collide and the Collide Foundation.  He is an adjunct professor, teaching entrepreneurship, at Grand Canyon University.

Don Shell, Partner is a highly experienced intellectual property marketing and monetization professional. With more than 25 years at Honeywell Aerospace, including his final 14 years as a Technology Licensing Executive, Don’s role was driving revenue opportunities for the company’s technology in non-aerospace markets.  Guest Lecturer at Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business.

Dale Moberg

Chief Architect Ph.D

Dale Moberghas had several careers within academia, in sponsored artificial intelligence research, and in commercial roles in developing protocols and standards for secure internet integration of information exchange.  Since 1993, he has served in strategic and chief architectural roles in several companies, including Orion Health, Axway, Cyclone and Sterling Commerce.  He currently is a consultant in areas of standards, education, and software development.

 

He has published over 40 publications in history, philosophy of natural science, logic, knowledge representation, computational philosophy of discovery, and many other areas in artificial intelligence and philosophy.

 

He has made contributions to communication protocol design, distributed cryptographic systems, machine learning, knowledge-based simulation, diagnostic and design support systems.  He has written and reviewed standards for IETF, W3C, ISO, OASIS, GS1, RosettaNet, and others.
